Guests enjoyed the safe neighbourhood the hotel is in which provides restaurants and shops in walking distance. To explore the town it is easy to use public transportation as a bus stop is right across from the hotel. Hiking trails are right nearby so you don't have to venture far to enjoy some outdoors activities.
Guests found the staff to be professional and helpful. They were serviced with a smile and found that the recommendations for restaurants or attractions were good and helped enrich their stay. The staff speaks English well so there were no communication problems.
Guests liked the level of cleanliness of their rooms and the comfort the rooms provided. Having a full bathroom was appreciated by many. There are different room sizes available which makes traveling with friends or family easier, as they can accommodate up to five people in a room. Wi-Fi worked well for most guests.
The lack of an elevator was a problem to guests sometimes. The stairs have been described as steep and you have to take your luggage to your room yourself. If you have any mobility issues this might not be the best choice for you.
Guests who had rooms that were facing the main street often heard street noise even through closed windows. A pair of earplugs might remedy this situation, or you can ask for a room facing toward the other side of the building.
The hotel does not have air conditioning installed, which left guests especially in the summer months with hot rooms. Opening the windows can help with the heat, but as there are no window screens, this might allow bugs to come in.
