Hotel Citybox Bergen City (Bergen, Norway)

The rooms are found to be basic in their amenities, but are also clean and comfortable for many guests. They found the rooms to be clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the blankets a nice addition, while the floor heating worked well.

The hotel owns a café and guests who enjoyed their breakfast there mentioned it was delicious and cheap. They were happy to have this option near their rooms.

The hotel is located in the city centre and is also very close to the train station which made it simple for guests to find their way on arrival. The old town was easily reached and it was strategic for a touristic or business type of stay in Bergen.

The Wi-Fi was found to be poor and not working well by many guests who tried to use it. They mentioned it did not have a stable signal and that it would not work at all during times.

Most guests did not have a chance to speak with staff members or reception which made them feel like a ghost hotel. The check-in process is done by the guests and some would have preferred to have people to talk with about their queries.

Some guests would have liked for the rooms to at least have TVs and some free toiletries, but found there is a lack of the basic amenities one finds in most hotels. The kettles and TV are in a common lounge area which was annoying for some guests.
