    A pleasant stay.

    Rooms were found to be clean and modern with a great shower, and were one of the main reasons why guests enjoyed their visit. Sometimes all you want is a simple room in great condition, and guests got it here.

    Staff were considered to be friendly and highly professional. Impersonal service was nowhere to be found, and guests gave top marks to the wonderful staff.

    Guests enjoyed the quiet, picturesque setting. They could spend some time in the large garden, or stroll along the River Thames and enjoy several excellent vantage points and picture-perfect scenes like the nearby 11th century church.

    Rooms on the small side.

    Several guests said that rooms were better suited for single occupancy or business travellers for a short stay. Two people staying in a room might find it a stretch to comfortably get around, with little space between beds and the wall.

    Restaurant disappointment.

    If you plan on arriving late, you might be met with a closed bar and restaurant. Many guests thought that the restaurant closed too early, even on weekends, but the good news was that six or seven dining options were in close proximity. Another food related let down were the sometimes cold breakfasts, and guests wished for a microwave to reheat their meals.

    Confusing after dark.

    Arriving after dark had its fair share of drama for some guests. Moor Hall Conference Centre is rather spread out, and guests found that poor outside lighting did little to assist them in finding the parking area and proper room location.
