Being about seven minutes from the train station makes it easy for tourists to get around on their own. Visitors also commented that they liked being able to walk to the nearby restaurants, the port and attractions in Bergen.

Guests liked the views from their rooms where you could see the harbor. They said the glittering lights at night was majestic and gave a great ambiance.

Depending on where your room is, you might get a blast of music and or street noise in your room. The hotel is located on a bustling street with bars, so the noise can be heard even from the fifth floor. Several guests said that the window leaked in lots of noise. Try to get a backyard room away from the street if you're a light sleeper.

Some guests said their issues about their rooms were not taken care of or dismissed in an impolite manner. They complained that the staff appeared apathetic and did not take customer service seriously.
