Hotel & Hostel Drei Bären

This establishment offers a unique blend of a former youth hostel ambiance with a strong focus on outdoor activities, making it particularly appealing for its direct access to the Harzer Hexenstieg hiking trail and a rodelberg (sledding hill) directly opposite. Guests frequently highlight the spacious rooms, the friendly staff, and the quality of the breakfast. While the facilities are often described as dated, the hotel provides a functional and budget-friendly base. It is an ideal choice for hikers, families with children, and groups seeking an active getaway, as well as budget-conscious travelers. To ensure a comfortable stay, guests should manage their expectations regarding modern hotel luxuries and be aware that the heating in some rooms may be inconsistent, especially during colder periods.
