Reviews

Review summary

Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews

The hotel is noted for its convenient location, particularly for guests visiting the nearby college or exploring local wineries and the Shawnee National Forest, making it a practical choice for leisure travelers and college visitors. However, a pervasive and frequently reported sewer odor throughout the property, including guest rooms and hallways, significantly impacts the guest experience. While some individual staff members are commended for their helpfulness and positive attitudes, the hotel appears to be in a state of flux, with many guests attributing a decline in overall standards to a recent change in management or ownership. For a more comfortable stay, guests should be aware of potential maintenance issues and consider confirming reservation details directly with the hotel, especially if booking through third-party platforms.
