Review summary
Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews
A historic, quiet retreat for travelers exploring Stamford.
This property serves as a charming base for sightseers seeking a traditional atmosphere. The historic market center location pairs with on-site parking to provide a convenient home for those exploring the town. The candlelit restaurant stands out as a culinary highlight, and guests looking for a more personalized experience should engage with the staff, who are noted for their warm and attentive hospitality. While the building is full of character, the room comfort remains inconsistent, with some guests finding the furnishings dated and the layouts quite compact.
Some guests mentioned: worn mattresses, inconsistent Wi-Fi, limited parking space.
