Hotel Aphrodite (Rome, Italy)

After recent remodelling and renovations, guests say the hotel looks quite impressive. Everything appears new, clean, and neatly designed. The rooms are equipped with all the modern necessities guests find as a must-have, including a minibar, flat screen TV, and a personal safe. Despite the hotel’s proximity to the train station, the hotel is reported to be free from the nuisance of city noise.

Guests found the hotel’s location very convenient, only steps from the central Roma Termini station, and walking distance from all the major sights of Rome. Because you’re near the main train station, you’ll also have excellent public transport links all over the city. Guests also add that there are plenty of dining and shopping opportunities around the hotel, and a grocery store is also close by.

If you’re looking a reason to wake up early, the complimentary breakfast buffet, served on the hotel’s rooftop, should be enough. Guests were very impressed with the wide variety of foods and dishes served, with something to cater to everyone’s tastes, including plenty of vegetarian options. The fresh handmade pastries are a guest favourite.

The complimentary Wi-Fi at the hotel is reportedly not the best, but it depends on the time of day, and how many guests are currently occupying the hotel.

Many guests found the rooms a bit smaller than their preference. The bathrooms and shower cubicles are also reportedly quite cramped.

Don’t expect spectacular views, even from the rooftop terrace. Guests say the hotel doesn’t rise high enough to get great views of the city.
