Positive Reviews

Superb location

Many guests say that The Vermont Aparthotel in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, is in a superb location right on the Quayside, under the Tyne Bridge. They like that it is close to the centre of Newcastle. Guests say that they would definitely recommend the place and would stay again when in the area.

Spacious apartments with good facilities

Guests say that the apartments are spacious with great facilities. Kitchens have microwaves, dishwashers and percolators, and beds are comfortable with extra gestures like lavender sleep spray making it special. Guests also enjoyed the views of the bridge from the rooms. Guests staying in the Dom Perignon Penthouse say that there are nice touches with the Dom Perignon Lightbox and an impressive bar plus two bathrooms.

Friendly staff; good base

The staff at the aparthotel is polite and friendly and guests say they appreciated their sense of humour. They say they find it very convenient to see Newcastle while staying at the aparthotel. The Quayside is literally at the doorstep, shopping is right up the street and the nightlife around is good.

Negative Reviews

Limited furniture and cookware

Some guests say that while the kitchen appliances in the apartments are good, the utensils and cookware provided are limited. There are only two chairs and one table provided for four people. Windows are not double glazed and do not open.

No basic breakfast provisions

Guests wish that provisions like milk and bread and a few other breakfast items should be included as is the standard with most aparthotels.

No parking facilities; noisy area

There is no facility to park at the aparthotel, which guests find a great inconvenience. Also since the property is in a busy part of town with many clubs and bars it is quite noisy, so ear plugs are a must.
