Villa Sirilanna Hotel (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

This boutique hotel is said to be absolutely gorgeous in appearance, with rooms featuring a charming and luxurious realisation of Thai style decor with wooden furnishings. People seemed to very much appreciate the air conditioning and Jacuzzis in their rooms, which were also said to be clean and very spacious, while the on-site pool was thought also enjoyed.

Those who stayed said that the staff working here was accommodating, friendly and happy to help out with whatever needed looking into, which apparently more than made up for any minor professional hiccups. Moreover, the buffet breakfasts here apparently have a decent selection of Thai and Western options and anyone willing to mix and match will apparently enjoy their morning meals.

All of the attractions of Chiang Mai's old town can apparently be reached with just a short walk from this hotel, with guests mentioning that the night markets and temples were particularly close by. On top of this, a wide range of restaurants, bars and shopping possibilities were also said to be close by and red taxi transport is said to be easily accessible.

Guests mentioned some minor niggles from their stays, which included the fact that the hotel's air conditioning did not extend past their rooms and that there also seems to be the occasional issue with the hot water not being so hot in showers here.
