About The Residence Maldives

The Residence is a luxury resort located in Falhumaafushi, a pristine island in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. It’s a secluded resort that blends traditional Maldivian architecture with modern comforts. There are 94 villas with thatched roofs that are equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, iPod docks and coffeemakers. En suite bathrooms have stand-alone baths and free toiletries. Some villas are overwater and feature direct access to the sea, private equipped decks/terraces and separate sitting areas, while some have private pools. The Residence has an outdoor pool, a spa and a kids’ club. There’s also an in-house dive school, a fitness centre and a sauna. There’s an upscale overwater restaurant ‘Falhumaa’ that specialises in seafood, plus a poolside bar and a beachfront bistro. Breakfast is free. There’s 24-hours room service. Ibrahim Nasir International Airport is a 90-minute seaplane ride from The Residence.
