Travelodge by Wyndham Yampa

The hotel offers a distinctive stay, primarily characterized by its remote location in a small, rural town, often serving as a more affordable alternative to pricier destinations like Steamboat Springs, and its attached 24-hour diner which doubles as the check-in point. Guests frequently highlight the comfortable beds and the generally quiet atmosphere as positive aspects of their stay. However, many reviews point to significant issues with the hotel's overall cleanliness and the condition of its facilities, which often appear run-down. This hotel is particularly suited for budget travelers, ski enthusiasts seeking a less expensive base, and contract workers or railroad employees who comprise a significant portion of its clientele. To ensure a smoother experience, guests should be prepared for a basic, no-frills stay and anticipate potential challenges with room readiness or key card functionality upon arrival.
