Positive Reviews
positive:
An old lady, but streets ahead of many youngsters!
A tad on the old and tired side, there is a certain charm here. Everything's clean and tidy and equipment functions well. This, though, is a well priced hotel in the center of Seattle and well maintained with fresh laundry and bedding. The elevator has antique value but, again - it works! You can get 'everywhere' but it's slightly detached from the main activity, so noticeably quieter. Good value.

Super Seattle Staff.
Management and staff are very welcoming and helpful. They can't be faulted.

Location wins the day.
This location couldn't be better. 'Slap, bang' in the downtown area; it's close to the waterfront and only half a mile from Pike Place Market. Couldn't be better.

Not fired with enthusiasm.
OK, it's an old place and has some charm because of that. But, in the rooms and with the few power points overloaded with appliances, you begin to wonder about possible fire hazards; and the overall safety of the building. The elderly elevator is certainly fired up and very noisy.

Once bitten ...+ you'll be Sleepless in Seattle
WiFi doesn't work in the room. The only chance you've got is to use the facility in the minuscule lobby area. The place seems clean enough but, obviously, they aren't doing enough to defeat the march of the bed bugs. They are here and breeding like crazy.

There are some real concerns.
There's no parking. You need to pay to park up nearby. Inside the rooms, there's evidence of powder being left to deter bugs .. although they seem to thrive on it. Carpets are dark and dingy (*is this the original color, or something more sinister?).
