Review summary
Summarized by AI from 600+ reviews
A charming historic retreat for travelers seeking nostalgic character.
This historic mansion serves as a tranquil base for sightseers, pairing its scenic riverfront location with a tranquil library for quiet relaxation. The accommodating staff consistently earns praise for their warm hospitality, and guests looking for extra space should consider booking one of the spacious layouts available in select suites. While the freshly prepared hot buffet is a highlight when available, the experience is best suited for those who prioritize unique, antique-themed surroundings over modern, standardized hotel amenities.
Some guests mentioned: worn mattresses, inconsistent temperature control, aging exterior surfaces.
