Cypress Hill - beautifully designed, views overlooking Bass Strait Cypress Hill is set on an acre situated just 5km from Apollo Bay on the west side of Marengo. Cypress Hill recently featured on Channel 9’s Post Cards TV program.This modern, beautifully designed house has views overlooking Bass Strait and the rolling green hills surrounding Apollo Bay. The entire front of the house features glass stretching from floor to ceiling – fusing the outdoors with the interior and saturating the large open lounge and dining area (90m2) with natural sunlight. An unforgettable feature of this home is the impressive handmade timber dining table which extends almost the length of the large room, in itself creating quite a statement and ideal for entertaining and family feasts.Outdoor decks wrap the main living areas on the north and east of the house, offering flexibility and protection from the weather for outdoor entertaining. There are two separate living areas – both with ocean views and full entertainment TV/DVD. The main lounge has a wood fire as well as two reverse cycle air conditioning units making it a great retreat all year round.This spacious house accommodates up to eight guests in three bedrooms. The master bedroom with king size bed overlooks the surrounding bush and the ensuite features heated floors and towel rack and a walk-in wardrobe. The two remaining bedrooms both have queen beds with the third room also accommodating one set of bunks.The second bathroom has excellent facilities with separate bath and shower plus a separate laundry.A very relaxing and healthy get-away with plenty of things to do, incuding taking the Great Ocean Walk; or sitting on the deck, looking over the bush surroundings of the house. There is also easy access to the Otway National Park via the Elliot River track located nearby.Cypress Hill provides the perfect base for a short break with friends or a great family holiday.
