Review summary

Summarized by AI from 1,000+ reviews

A historic, tranquil retreat for discerning leisure travelers.

This property welcomes travelers to the heart of Coral Gables, where the iconic swimming pool serves as a refreshing centerpiece for the historic grounds. The culinary offerings are a standout highlight, particularly the exquisite Italian cuisine at the Fontana restaurant; guests looking for a decadent experience should prioritize booking the Sunday brunch. While the architecture provides a grand atmosphere, the inconsistent room conditions and varying service standards are important factors to consider when planning your stay.

Some guests mentioned: musty odors, service inconsistencies, mandatory service charges.
